Video Sessions (iPhone) – S01E12 – Plan8 visits Revision3 – Roger Chang Interview

While out in California in January for Macworld 2009 I was able to use twitter to setup an interview with Revision3 podcast host Patrick Norton (twitter). This is the same event in which I was recorded in Episode 186 – Live In Los Angeles! as the Palm Centro & Macbook Pro break dancing heckler. As the day came for the interview, Revision3 Producers Roger Chang (twitter) and David Prager (twitter) also joined in to be interviewed on camera for The Plan8 Podcast.

The Plan8 Podcast host Patrick Roanhouse (Twitter) also has a special annoucement to make:

“…

Last week I got word that the Plan8 Podcast now has press passes for two of the largest geek events on the internet.

First is the E3 Electronic Gaming expo, in Los Angeles, California. Once the Largest and Grandest of Industry Expos, the last few years it had tried to sit back and cool down a bit. But now, by popular demand, it is back and bigger than ever. This will be my first time going and being able to cover it.

The Second event is the 13th Annual Webby Awards in New York City. The Webbys have been going on since 1996 celebrating the wonders of the web. Web Media covering in blogs, podcasts, and graphics in a wide range of topics are celebrated and awarded in this red carpet event. The likes of Al Gore, Steven Colbert, David Bowie and many more have either hosted or been there to receive awards for their contributions to Internet and Digital Media Culture.

I have lined up a Film crew as well this time to help me cover these events and I really am hoping to raise the bar of my podcast for you, my viewers and listeners.

But there is a small problem and I need your help,

I need to get sponsors to help cover the cost for these shows to cover the travel costs for these events which would cost about just shy of three thousand dollars. If anyone of my followers can help in getting any corporate sponsorship to help cover the costs I will be in your debt.

Also you can donate personally via the paypal donate button on the the Plan8 Home page. If you donate $15 Dollars or more you can be entered in to win one of  five Cradlepoint Mobile Routers I will be giving away monthly.

Thanks again for listening to the show and thanks for your help. For any suggestions feel free to email me at Podcast@Plan8ts.com or leave a voice mail message on our skype line at +1.443.483.4350. Thanks for listening to the show”
